Yesterdays restart didn't go all that smoothly, but it also wasn't a total catastrophe. I'll give G1/Indy21 some credit, they did have staff online working on problems almost the whole time. They probably still have staff at work. The servers just went down for a few minutes and that was at like, 5am in California. They must have had a long night at GamersFirst headquarters.
A couple of days ago RedCross posted a guide to how things would proceed from here, and it was pretty funny at the time. I've been adding check marks to everything as they happen, and it would seem that RedCross is good at predicting the future. If you're at all concerned for your health, you don't want him looking into his crystal ball for you.
I came across [GM]NeverMore in game last night. He told me that yes there is a problem with the messenger service, and they are working on it. It still wasn't working when I left for the gym today and I don't what's up with that as of "right now". The bigger problem is that the GM tool is/was not linked up to the Phoenix server, so fixing things was a little difficult.
Am I the only one who wished they didn't change the server name? Was that necessary?
The other problem we may have because of that problem with the GM tool is our usual Friday night experience event. G1 haven't even said yet if we're going to be getting XP events, but without that GM tool, they can't turn on an event even if they wanted too. We'll just have to wait and see. Knowing how fast (slow) Indy21 works, I'm not getting my hopes up.
In other news the load-o-meter website is up and running again! We'll be able to monitor the state of the servers ourselves and I really appreciate that little look at how things are going in 9D Land. One thing we can see right away with the load-0-meter is that either a lot of players are missing from the game, or G1 has a lot more server capacity than Acclaim had. The reality is probably a little bit of both.
So anyway, I made it to OC12 in the 24 hours since the game has been up. I even got about 4 hours of sleep. Yeah, I'm hooked on this game but the one thing I'm not going to do is spend even 10 cents on it. I want my account and characters back, and once I have used up all my coin mall items there, I'll think about spending again. It was my plan last Christmas to make one major coin purchase and then use up those coins over the whole year. I still had almost 6 months of premium to go, as well as a lot of permanent stuff in use on my characters.
I want them back, dammit!
I'm not going to call for a boycott of G1 once they get their coin mall up and running. Everyone should have to decide for themselves how they are going to deal with this, but please let us know what you're thinking.

was just fine till i woke up from my slumber and had a bowl of cereals...dam you spoiled milk :(
Except for the spam that some whiners made from time to time it was fine, it felt good to see so many players fighting together without PKing each other lol. It was a pretty bad idea from G1 to give every player 10 Lion Roars though. Anyways it seems to me that the game has less lag now, but it could also be that most people's Messenger doesn't work though. Got OC4 just before servers went down, not grinding too much nor too little, and atm waiting for servers to go up again.
I just checked the sys specs, compared to mine.
This is what i have.
8Gb DDR3 RAM = 4 times more and twice as powerful as DDR
i7 920 CPU = Much more power then a Pentium 4
Nvidia GTX 260 1.8GB GDDR3 GPU = runs the game on unlimited FPS if possible
And then the issue
I got W7 x64 = not supported OMFGZORZ... i will stick to cod4 and nfs:w until someone comes with a fix. And i tried the fix on the forums, doesn't work. L.A.M.E.
Well it was good for me in all areas except for the chat part
I missed the league chat and was hating the whiners on roars and map chat.
Me and Milic reached OC1 yesterday and servers went down right when we started grinding today. Messenger is working now.
I would like to add that I've done my Icy and Hefei quests without any problems, but that was before those zones went down.
Other than that, exp sucks. Especially skills. Reminds me 2007.. I really wouldn't like to spend months grinding through GB levels..
Item Mall - I'm gonna use it. I don't mind spending few $ here and there and I just treat that like buying an ice-cream (beer for you SD ;) ), 10 minutes of pleasure, nothing permanent.
Well, was just stuck at Ici Quest....let see what will happend after that... xDD:))

hey boyz and girlz..i dunno if you guys would remember me since i haven't been aropund for a looong time and also there is a alot of new faces around and am kinda old one :p..but anyway, i was pleased to hear that acclaim is actually down (is that evil or it's just me?:p) now i can actually consider going back to 9d :p..
Gotta admit, Nevermore still has it.
Back at Acclaim he knew how to be full of it and he still knows it at G1.
GM tool not connected is a weak excuse and total lie.
Kane is having a blast laughing at all the lies that are being told on forums and ingame.
GM tool not being connected to 1 server is one of the big ones haha.
