Another one bites the dust

We lost another member yesterday to hackers. I'll be honest about this, he didn't "get hacked". He was using skill training software that he downloaded from the internet and just like always, this bit of software came complete with keylogging software, so it was just a matter of time before he lost everything from his account. And I mean, he lost everything.

He had a fair number of coins on that account and about 200 xp cards stored. They are gone. All of his good equipment, clothes, blood essence, everything. Gone. This is how the hackers make most of their in-game gold that they sell. They don't actually play this game. They hack the people who buy their gold, or down loaded their viral software.

This isn't just a problen on 9Dragons of course. All of the games with an internal economy have problems with these hackers. The management team at World of Warcraft put out an excellent statement on this topic and it's good reading for any active gamer.

What's really sad about the situation is that our friend is a bright young man with a good future ahead of him. He was fun to chat with in league chat and he won our recent screenshot contest with a screaming funny Gif file that sums up our daily problems in the game. I'm going to miss this guy.

We can all avoid these problems by playing by the rules. They are common sense and simple rules and will keep you out of trouble. And what else can I say? Another One Bites the Dust.

Well, is always sad to know that someone has used or abused in any thing that is not legal. Whether there is intent to exploit this advantage or position is what makes the difference in this game: follow the rules or not. But we must not forget one thing, any game should and must be a way and source of inspiration for the play and helping. Therefore, we are always on our conscience and duty. Have fun where they can! Hy guys..
that's a nice eulogy u wrote about me back there :p..BUT..i would like to correct some mistakes boss have made in the post..

1) i was not using a training software from the net..i was simply using this program called Joy2Key..i am sure u all heard of it..it just turns ur joy pad input into a keyboard input..

of course it a has a nice little twist..if u hold the joy pad button (now its assigned to a key board button) it will still auto shoot it in game unlike the keyboard of course..

this program is official and 100% virus free..i have a great gaming rig so it can work with various numbers of antimaleware//antispyware//antivirus programs in the same time..i tell u...if a Cyper fly tries to as much as fly next to my PC..it will be fried :p..

2) i quite the game not because i got hacked..not mainly at least..but because i am in medicine school now and frankly..this game is a big time eater..i can't concentrate on what's important (studying) while playing this game..so i was waiting for a chance to do this in a loooong time..


just wanted to make it clear again.it wasn't a training program again..(it's not like i could find one lol :p)

finally sorry to post here..but i think that's the first place people will look :D..

have fun all..and i think i will still talk to u through our great blog here..i am still DC man so don't count me out just yet :D
