Evidently Games Campus has decided there is quite a lot of gold floating around the game, and they've decided to do something about it. They've decided to auction off a number of fairly sweet items through their forums, and you get to bid with game gold. The post is unfortunately only in German so far so I'll do my best to keep you updated here.
You place your bid using the PM function on the forum, in that thread. The character running the auction is a new forum name, Versteigerer, which is appropriate. That name means Auctioneer in English.
The first items for auction is a pair of 7/1k hit point return weapon ornaments, and the auction is open until Friday, but no time on Friday is given.
From Friday until Monday you'll have the chance to bid on a 30 day premium package, and next week from Monday to Thursday 4 Jade Separators are going to be auctioned off. Here is a quote from the forum with actual dates;
Like I said, some sweet items and an interesting idea. They will continue with the idea if there is enough interest. I think that if Games Campus continues with the great coin mall items there will be plenty of interest, particularly for the players who can't afford to buy those items.
They have a format they would like players to use too;
----------------------------------------
Betreff:
Stille Auktion für ITEMNAME
Text
Account: ACCOUNTNAME
Gebot: GEBOT IN GOLD
----------------------------------------
Put the item name as the subject of the PM, and in the text of the message your account name and offer in game gold. If you're the winner they'll drop the items on your account and manually remove the gold.
Good Luck to all bidders.
Update: All auctions start and end at noon, in the German timezone.
