It's a weekend, but I don't know how much of a gaming weekend it's going to be, which is too bad because there is a skill event going on for the next couple of days. GamersFirst has gone back to the old base rates to determine the multiples when they describe events, and they are calling this 2x for experience and 12x for skills.

For the longer term players this comes out as 2x for experience, which we've been getting the whole time with G1, and 3x for skills, which is nice but I'm still not going to rebuild my skills manually.

It's not a bad offer but the network chimps at G1 are randomly pulling cables and rebuilding their network this weekend. That's not just for 9D, but for all the games they publish. What it means for us though, we're getting a Disconnected Weekend! Yay, we win!

Practically speaking we might as well not play until they get this thing figured out. Fortunately we can see how things are going with the servers with the load-o-meter website. As you can see, things still haven't settled down since that 36 hour event outage a couple of days ago.
