Hackers in G1

I dont play 9D anymore, but i check forum once in a week and same with irc-channel in hope to get my original characters back. It is a bit hilarious to see G1 9D suffering the same problems as Vietnamese 9D did. This time hackers have found a way to spawn Cao Bei quest mobs to the Hefei map. Obviously they also knows how to get killer epithets and rare items through hacks.

Hyperion has asked Indy21 to disable VN hacking tools, but can they really do that in time?

I was in the IRC channel a couple of nights ago when NeverMore declared that he had found a motherload of hackers. Apparently they had thousands of xp cards between them, and he banned them all.

This Hefei mob bomb is probably a big F-U from the hackers.

It's one of the funnier hacks I've seen, but like any joke it wont stay funny if it gets repeated too often.

Since i saw VN freaks selling GM tool for 2 - 3,000 dollars, i guess events like this will happen often ^^

This wasn't a GM tool hack. This is known as a injection hack. The original Cao Bei quest spawn occurs after speaking to an NPC. The client signals the server to spawn the quest mob and this is one of the few quest mobs that is generated by a signal from the client package.

Someone had a packet sniffer inline to find the coded signal used to spawn that mob.

That coded signal was used to bomb the Hefei map, but I'm told that Indy21 has already fixed this.

I wouldn't spend anything on those "GM Tools". Who knows how long it will take Indy21 to fix their junk, and then you're out your 2 grand.
