Hyperion's Daily Update

Posted by Anonymous in , ,

It's really nice to see some communications from G1 while we all wait. In light of how we were treated by the likes of Acclaim this is relatively refreshing even if the daily update is a little light on details. Hyperion uses words like "within the next few days", and "later this week", and "Over the evening and throughout the week". It's safe to say that the game isn't going to up and running on September 1st as many people (including me) had hoped.

As TS said in a comment, "we'll see" has become the new "soon".

In good news Menandore just posted her submission Red Crowned Crane to our league deco event and let me tell you, it's fantastic. This sort of creativity is just what I was hoping for when I built that league event. And you know what? I Want MOAR!!!

We're not playing the game, so you've all got time on your hands. Let's see more deco ideas!

Update: Sept 1 Hyperion's latest update is actually for Aug 31, but because the G1 office is in Irvine, CA we don't normally see it until the next day. We Bardo players often had the same problem with Acclaim and I hope G1 and Hyperion will start to take the timezone difference into account a little more often.

Anyway, again his update didn't really say much but one thing that is very clear? Hyperion knows he has a limited amount of time to get this game up and running again. In his own words...

Again, I just wanted to say thanks to the community for being so supportive. I know the support won't last forever, unless we deliver on making significant advances in the game, which we WILL do.

We're all still at the stage of trolling each other on the forums and comparing notes about withdrawal symptoms. If you haven't read that thread yet, you should. It's one of the funnier ones so far.

So, I really have no news for you again today, and in this case "no news" isn't really "good news". Let's hope for better, soon.

To the blog writers...

I'm going to post here to point out that when making a guide then if possible, please avoid forum links...for example few of the writers links to old Acclame forum doesn't work and aren't helping at all.

If there was no other way than just to give a link and not to paste large amount info to your post, then PLEASE check your made posts and fix the links when new forum has the info needed for it and/or edit your posts if the old forum guide info wasn't important in your post.

In short, check your info/guide posts and DO NOT FORGET TO EDIT the links!

It's about guides and helpful posts only. Links that showed some random topic in Acclame forum can stay, who's going to check them anyway?!

Cheers and take care you all! :)

Oh and this post can be deleted in the future.

A letter from the CEO

Posted by Anonymous in

So we got a letter from the CEO of G1 in their forums today and here is a link for you if you like. I"ll also post here as a quote so that we have it for posterity sakes. Let me first say though, he really doesn't say much. About all that he does say is;

Hi, pleased to meet you. Yes, Houston knows you have a problem and they are working on it. They will get back to you about that. In the mean time could you please go out and tell everyone what a wonderful job we're doing for you, even though we haven't actually done anything for you yet.

Sincerely, The Boss.

We still don't know a start date, and he said nothing about the character database either so I still don't have anything nice to tell you. Here's the letter from Joshua Hong...

Dear 9Dragons Community,

I’m the Founder and CEO of Gamersfirst. Over the last 8 years my team and I have built the GamersFirst community one member at a time and we are welcome all of you into our global network of MMO communities. Your vibrancy and passion were the main reasons why we signed this game from Indy21.

First, I was appalled by how you were all abandoned by the previous publisher of the game, Acclaim. As a gamer, I felt angered and disheartened, by how your community wasn’t shown any respect; I felt your sense of abandonment as they shut down your service with no notice and warning. I promise you that at GamersFirst, you will be provided the utmost respect just as the rest of our communities.

Secondly, I want you to know that Indy21 took no part in deciding when and how the 9Dragon servers were shut down. My colleagues and partners in Korea, at Indy21, were as shocked and surprised as the rest of us as they too were promised a seamless and smooth transition. It seems that the decision to shut down the 9Dragons service was made unilaterally by Acclaim and Playdom. Right now, our first and foremost priority is to help recreate your accounts on our platform as expediently as possible. We’ve already made progress and will be on it like there is no tomorrow. Quite frankly, this process won’t be easy and will require a lot of close collaboration between us and the community. With your help, however, I am confident that we can make it happen and we are committed to working 24x7 till this gets done. From my standpoint as CEO, I view this problem as an opportunity to prove our worth to you. So, from this point on, without any complaint or excuse from us, we will do everything in our power to serve you right.

So, where do we go from here?

Three things I ask you to do:

#1. Stay calm and give us a few days to launch the game servers. Our engineers from both Gamersfirst and Indy21 are working round the clock through the weekend since last Thursday to launch the new website and servers;

#2. Visit the 9Dragon forum as often as you can to find out up-to-the-minute progress. Also, please join our new facebook fan page so you can share information quickly and easily. Our goal is to make the character restoration process as painless as possible. We know how hard you worked to build up your characters. To some of us, it means more than just a game. It’s our life. Although there will be some minor hiccups along the way, I assure you that we will help you restore all your previous characters with or without the screenshots of your characters. You have my word on this. In fact, because you are going through the current crisis and remain loyal community member, if you came back and went through the character restoration process successfully, we will offer you a lot of incentives. I’m positive you will love the special offers to earn and keep your loyalty. Also, we have a lot of new content waiting at the sideline to be deployed. I’m sure you will like what you’ll see as soon as we launch the game;

#3. Tell your friends about the plan we have. Spread the news and let’s get them excited about the new opportunities. I want you to take this opportunity to help us restore and further energize the 9Dragons community. This is the time to test this community’s character and resilience. And, I know, you guys care about the friendships you built over the years and it’s just as important to you as to us.

Gamersfirst is the first and most experienced Free2Play MMO publisher in North America. We have more than 30 million players who created accounts on our platform; and these 30 million friends are welcoming you with open arms. Our mission is to put Gamers First. That means putting YOU first. So, tell your friends about us, about the change. There is new hope.

Cheers,

Josh

Typical Acclaim

Posted by Anonymous in , , ,

I'm sorry I haven't updated the blog in the last couple of days, about the ongoing situation. To be honest I just haven't had the time, even though I've been in-game and grinding. Now though, the grinding has come to an end. In typical Acclaim fashion the servers were switched off with just a few hours notice, and if you didn't happen to be online at the time, you didn't get the message.

No doubt many of you are wondering about the promised 10x event that was planned for tonight. Ravenclaw/Kane started that event last night at midnight and let it run until the server shutdown at midnight PST. Not fair to many of you, but that is Acclaim. Sometimes I get the feeling that Acclaim has been run by this guy...

That guy is about to cook a chicken, and the chicken isn't even scared. Maybe the chicken knows more than the cook? You could probably say the same about Acclaim.

Anyway, so where are we at now?

We don't have a game to play, and I sincerely doubt that anything can be done to fix the situation today, tomorrow, or even this weekend. The people at G1 have a team building fun day going on today, even though I know many of them are actually at work trying to deal with this situation. From what I understand, it's all in the hands of the lawyers right now and no one can say what will happen in the near future.

And I'm sorry to say, that's all I know. Normally I'm better informed than this and I'm just as unhappy as the rest of you. Please check in here at least daily because I will post what I know or find out, and if you want to chat please join us in the IRC channel. There is a link on the top bar that will get you an almost instant connection.

Stay happy people, and maybe go do some real life stuff for a change. My wife and I are going to the movies tomorrow night! And if you really have to do something game-related, I'm going to leave the league deco contest open at least until G1 reopens the game.

New Publisher.(360th Blog Entry)

Posted by LuckyTuga in ,

Hi all Lucky Here,

I was looking for a new MMO to play when I found out that 9Dragons could be on its last days, when I discovered that 9Dragons will not "Die" instead it will "Reborn" under a new company named GamersFirst.

Here is the post I saw announcing the takeover of Western 9Dragons:

" GamersFirst and Indy21 Bring You The Best Martial Arts MMORPG
9Dragons Changes Hands To Today’s Leading Free2PlayPublisher

Irvine, Calif.– August 24, 2010 – GamersFirst, today’s most popular Free2Play online game destination, announced its partnership with Korean game developer, Indy21, to publish 9Dragons. 9Dragons, the hit martial arts MMORPG, previously published by Acclaim Games, will be published by GamersFirst come September 2010. Current 9Dragons players will be able to continue playing with all items and characters intact after the transition.

9Dragons is a Martial Arts MMORPG set during the Ming Dynasty of feudal China. Players explore the vast expanse of the lands as a member of one of the legendary clans of Chinese Martial Arts and challenge each other for ownership of immense Fortresses in massive PvP battles.

Players can fully immerse themselves in the robust powerful storyline that details the history of ancient China and their respective clans. Tilt the balance of power between the White and Black clans and participate in quests that lead each player on a journey of enlightenment and martial art mastery.

“9Dragons is the most authentic Martial Arts MMO on the market with a very active and fun community,” say Tracy Spaight, Executive Director of Publishing for GamersFirst. “INDY21 clearly made significant investments in best-in-class resources to create this stunning Martial Arts MMO. GamersFirst looks for great Free2Play MMO titles with strong and dedicated communities and with 9Dragons we noticed a rare opportunity to incorporate a new MMO genre to the GamersFirst catalogue in addition to working with INDY21.”

In addition to the solid foundation of existing PvE and PvP gameplay, the changing of hands will also include several new key features over the next quarter, including:
• Dedicated tutorial map for easing new players into the 9Dragons experience
• New high level dungeon encounter “Vault of the Ice Dragon”
• Updated “Tibet” map
• Brand new Kung Fu patterns to master
• ‘Most Wanted’ list – useful in avoiding—or becoming—one of the most dangerous and skilled players in PvP

“We chose GamersFirst, because it is a company that understands the Free2Play market and communicates with its gamer community,” said Yong-Nam Jin, CFO at Indy 21. “We have seen GamersFirst build Free2Play MMO’s with the same type of strong community presence that exists within 9Dragons and are looking forward to continuing the success of the game.”

Design your own Deco

Posted by Anonymous in , , ,

About a week ago we were goofing off in chat, talking about our favorite league slacker [B-Stard]. Apparently he has a brand new deco, which is pretty cool because I'm more or less stuck with one of the old and ugly clan decos as my 440 dodge deco. When I built it we didn't have the choice to buy reasonably good looking permanent decos from the coin mall. And while [B-stard] might b-slack, I'm a cheap b-stard and I'm not going to spend more money on this game any time soon.

But it got me thinking. If you could have any deco you wanted, what would it look like? Now I'm turning that idea into a league event, just because we haven't had one in a while.

So here is how it goes;

This event is open to Disconnected and Restless League members. You are to design a deco in character sized proportions, both male and female, and I want to see both front and back. You can choose any theme you want of course, but the winning ideas are going to be game related. Keep in mind, the game is set in the Ming Dynasty era of ancient China. Also, I don't want to see anything more blatantly sexual than any of the actual deco or clothes, or mobs in the game. I will be happy to see more than one submission per person, but there will only be one prize per person awarded.

Prizes? Ah yes, prizes. The winning idea will get 5 Blood Essence and an experience card. Second place will get 3 Blood Essence and an experience card, and Third place, 1 Blood Essence and an experience card.

Wow, with prizes like that I wish I could play too! When I was a kid I couldn't keep my crayons inside the lines, and I still can't. I guess it's a good thing I can write well.

Put your ideas onto an image server somewhere and give us a link in the comments section of this post. I'll put the images into this post as I get them.

I'm starting to think that this is going to be our best league event yet, and I'm looking forward to seeing your ideas. The event closes next weekend on Sunday, after the normal experience event.

VGM PK Event

Posted by Anoop in

Hi
I (and Lemming from Restless League) participated in yesterdays VGM PK event held in BP.
In this Event VGM's were Pking people in BP with thier +12 wepons KG , gear etc which they dont have to pay for and we were trying to PK them with our +7,+8 with no hardness left weapons.

In the middle of all this there were others farming karma PKing ppl who couldn't make out WTF was going on.

But the best part was The Reward if you to avoid all the PK and kill a mindless High level VGM , which is 2 BE :D

Event Times

When is it?
how long?
These and some other similar  questions popped on the league chat a couple of times, so I thought I'll add the Bardo Event Times, enjoy.

TGW Event

Posted by Hinata_SRB in , , ,

Last Sunday Ravenclaw held a boss spawn event in Hefei, CC1, CC2 and CC3, with a bunch of True General Wei bosses and others. I decided to try get the TGW epithet for my DB2 warrior. I want to share how I prepared for TGW because I am sure I would get it in normal circumstances.

My spear is nothing special, normal PS +9 and 4 sloted. The relics that I used were: a bad karma 7% damage plate, 5 Blood Beads of Earth, a 300 damage Heavenly Bear Ralisman and an EC bad karma +15 str relic (almost all borrowed).

I use the CS damage clothes set with a 6% critical hit jacket.

For buffs I had 5 Yin-Yang and 4 Body-Soul damage buffs. I also had a TGW buff, Carnival of Souls, normal hybrid and healer buffs, and I used the BoT +120% dmg suicide buff (that made me to eat some kgs -,-).

You probably know you can use 3 pills at the same time. I used a 1k damage pill, a 30% critical hit pill and 50% critical hit rate pill. I had the [Unsealed] Conqueror of North sea epithet too, for even more critical hit rate and damage.

So, Lets dance! The first TGW was spawned in strolling valley and I started to hit him from 100%. A nuker got credit for the kill of course, and the killer epithet. The same happened at event stage too. I was hoping the boss at the event stage was in an LOS spot but many nukers successfully hit him and they got the kill. I went to CC also to try few of the bosses spawned there, without success because almost all my buffs were gone by then.

There is a stun nuke bug, when a nuker gets a critical hit, the damage goes to 65k, and True General Wei has high defense and CK defense so nukers will almost always out-damage the other players with stun nuke, but I won’t quit trying.

Whats your Internet conection speed?

Posted by LuckyTuga in

Hi Lucky Here,
Try this tool I found its an good way to know your conection speed(download/upload).

http://www.abeltronica.com/velocimetro/pt/?idioma=uk&newlang=uk

I think this will help you preventing some disconections, because if your download speed is low you will disconect more times that what you would with a normal or high download speed(measured in kb), this will also help you prevent lag(upload speed measured in kb).

So what do you think of it?

A collection quest, with a twist

Posted by Anonymous in ,

It seems that all is not lost when it comes to our collection quests. There is a new one planned and to my surprise it will start tomorrow night at Silly o'Clock, sometime after midnight here in Europe. I was expecting a bit of a delay before we got this event, but I'm happy to see it. I knew a collection quest was coming because [VGM]Hawk asked my opinion about a few things last night during our experience event. If you recall, I asked in league chat for ideas about collection event rewards, and this is what came out of that discussion.

This collection quest comes with a bit of a twist. We're getting four lists all at once this week, and we'll have the whole week to collect all items. We can expect a couple of very difficult items in these lists, but I doubt there will be anything as stupid as Broken Arrows and hopefully everything in the lists will be stackable. In the past we've been asked to collect elixirs, and/or weapons but those items aren't all that practical because they don't stack. Those things must be quite the pain in the ass for the VGM's too.

Another thing that [VGM]Hawk and I discussed was the Tibet drops, and he has the same idea that I have. It's really not necessary to be taking items away from players when we don't know what the items are used for. Besides that, all the Tibet level players have lower level characters who can collect items. I think we can expect that the items on these 4 lists will be collectable by low to mid-level characters.

As a second small twist to the collection event idea, each of the lists will get a different reward for turning in items in.

The VGMs will give Special rewards to the players who turn in items.

- list 1 items will be rewarded with Dragon Herbs (hp recovery 200/3sec, duration 15sec) (1 DH/10 items)
- list 2 items will be rewarded with GT low lvl (1 gt/20 items)
- list 3 items will be rewarded with CC keys (1 cc key/20 items)
- list 4 items will be rewarded with BE (1 be/20 items)

Those Dragon Herbs are going to be popular with low level players. They are regular drops on the Tibet map, but you never see them for sale in Hefei. I have no doubt that the PvP bigshots eat these things like candy, and then keep on bragging about how incredible they are.

As usual there will be a public GoogleDoc where we can all track the progress of the collection quest.

If the lists really are designed for low to mid-level characters, a few smart players are going to be quite rich at the end of this week. I've said it before, I have no idea why players don't regularly pick up their drops while playing this game. And why don't the Masters and high level league members remind the lowbies about this too. The collection quests can make a player rich, so pick up your drops and wait to turn them in.

Our Donor Account

Posted by Anonymous in , , ,

I just want to remind our players that our Donor account has an awful lot of useful stuff available. We may not always have what you are looking for, but it never hurts to ask. In particular our RelicGirl character is stuffed full with the new good and bad karma Strength, Dexterity and Constitution relics. These things drop like rain on the Tibet map and I've been handing them in regularly.

If you're just starting out the RC relics can make a big difference and the combination of RC and FD level relics is a really good way to make up for the penalty statistic. For Healers that is Constitution and that's why I've been saving them. A hybrid can also use a few of those when they start to run the Golden Coins Mansion. With the hybrid constitution self-buff few hybrid players ever add to that stat, making GCM a death sentence.

We don't have a many manuals on our ManualMan character these days, just a few Heavenly Demon 10x2 manuals. Let me know if you would like them. What we do have there are a lot of skill books for each of the 3 clans, but of course we don't have the most expensive books like the fast heal skills, or the nuker shield books. Still, it never hurts to ask and if you put together a list of what you're looking for I'll be happy to go through bags for you.

Our Donor character has a few elixirs of just about every levels except level 3, again just ask and I'll see what I've got. There are some clothing items there, including some good items for FD12 characters, in particular VE hats and a few of those interesting dodge hats too.

The best time to get stuff from me is an hour or so before the weekly experience events starts. I'm usually online at that time, and have to time to look for stuff. Please don't ask during events, because just like everyone else I'm busy grinding!

So, what items do you need?

Tibet Mobs and Grind

Posted by Anonymous in , , ,

I mentioned a couple of weeks ago that for a few levels you don't have a lot of choice but to grind in the School of the Rising Sun dungeon. Fortunately it is now very well described with some very good maps, and you'll get rich doing it too.

I can't help but feel sorry for the people who were playing the game before the Tibet map came out. They had no other place to play at all, and that dungeon gets boring after a while. It takes over an hour to do a full run and for high level players there is no loot except when you kill the bosses. We do have the Tibet map now though, and the first mobs are level 177 so you can start to grind there around level 173 - 174, or Hermit 5 - 6.

When I started on the Tibet map I was splitting my time between SRS and Tibet. I would grind the event times in Tibet, but I spent the rest of my playing time in SRS collecting Blood Essences. That worked well for me because I could level up fairly easily in Tibet but I was still getting rich in the dungeon.

The Tibet mobs are fairly easy to deal with. They all seem to have a low attack rating and a slow attack style. They don't do very much damage and anyone with a minimal amount of hit point return ornaments can survive while grinding on orange mobs. There are a couple of exceptions though. The melee type mobs all get aggro fairly quickly so you almost always have your next mobs standing by ready to be killed.

The mobs themselves are almost all copies from lower level mobs, either direct copies or they use an attack style that is a copy from a lower mob. Sometimes the mob has a new look, but you always recognize the attack style. Each of the mobs has a special drop, but drop rates are low and we have no idea what the items are used for. The trend-setters at Acclaim can't be bothered to find out either, or possibly even tell us, but we've all gotten used to Acclaim being clueless.

I found a good mob map online and to be honest it looks like something that Fullneo produced. I have to talk that guy into writing for this blog!

The first group of mobs you run into are the Fiends. These are clan type mobs and they are a direct copy of the clan mobs in the Cave of the Conqueror. They are all melee type and are spread out over a fairly large area. There are plenty of mobs for every one and there is no need for nukers to shoot the mobs that are attacking you, but they do it anyway. These guys drop "Damaged Hero Journals" from each clan.

The second mobs are the Captains, of each of the Shadow clans. They start at level 181 and I stayed on these mobs until they turned light blue because the third mob are just a bitch to deal with. The third mob are the Miao Secret Needles and they are a direct copy of the Acupuncturists from the Hangzhou map, and just like the Acupuncturists these mobs do an awful lot of damage.

By staying on the Captains until they were blue I was able to jump over the Miao Secret Needles and go to the fourth mob, the Miao True Fists. The True Fists have a broadsword as their weapon and the attack graphic is straight from the Samurai mobs in Liaodong. These too are spread out over a fairly large area and there are enough for everyone. Again, the nukers don't have to shoot the mobs attacking you, but they will anyway.

Next up in the fifth area are the Axe Warriors that I mentioned in a recent post and they are green for me now. Their attack style is the same as one of the coin mobs on the Hangzhou map.

The first of the original mobs on this map are the Golden Leaf Monkeys in area 6. They are probably the only original mobs on the map, but the map isn't done yet. They start at level 191 and there are 4 levels of them. These are not a popular mob because all but the first level of them can cause paralyze and bleed. It's not bad for a warrior but I can see that nukers wouldn't be too happy here. I'm always happy to find a nuker-free zone!

Area 7 is the start of the next range mobs and they are orange for me now, the Langye Archers. I can actually grind on them and I do that in the event times. By grinding on higher mobs you have a better chance to get into a party with higher level players, which is obviously better for your own experience rate.

This is as far as I've gotten in grinding on this map, and I'll update this post as I level up.

Animal Mobs and the NIght Time Grind

Posted by Anonymous in , , ,

Once you've reached the second role level, EC6, you'll unlock the Advanced Mastery pages for your character. Two of the more important masteries for black clans are the Damage to Non-Human Types, and the Afternoon Damage Increase. These aren't the masteries you would maximize first but they should be high on your list.

I see a lot of players out there who must not understand the combined effect of these 2 masteries. I gain at least a 20% advantage in my grinding speed when the sunset image shows on my mini-map just by moving to an animal mob. Let me give you an example.

I mentioned recently that I'm grinding on the Miao Twin Axe Warriors. They are white for me now, and a easy mindless grind. They are a human type mob though, and I don't get the advantage of those 2 advanced masteries, so I only grind them during the daylight hours on the map. It now takes me 38 to 40 minutes of grind on these human type mobs to earn 1% of experience.

The moment the sun marker on my mini-map goes to sunset time I move to the next mobs on the map, the Little Golden Leaf Monkeys. I usually stay there until the sun comes up again and in that time I can gain experience at 1% per 30 minutes. It may not sound like much, but at the level I play at, every little bit helps. This idea could help your grind a lot, once you reach the second role levels.

It isn't all good though and these masteries aren't always so useful. For starters a few of the maps don't have very many animal mobs, Liaodong and Tibet in particular. And the animal mobs on the Ice Map hit really hard, the reindeer in particular, so you'll have to be careful which mobs you go after. Still, it all helps as long as you grind without meditating.

Anyone else have a good grinding tip?

The Underage Bans

Posted by Anonymous in ,

I know what the underage bans are about now, and I really doubt that players are going to be getting their accounts back if they started playing this game when they were 13 years old or younger. This really sucks, and yes it comes down to Acclaim Fail, but I'm sure they are no happier than any of the players. There is very little they can do about the situation.

What it comes down to is a law that I knew nothing about, and I bet Acclaim was clueless too. We've all gotten used to Acclaim being clueless but the Federal Trade Commission in the USA is less forgiving about it. The law involved is called the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act or, COPPA. It's not a "protection" act, it's a Privacy Protection act and what it means is that children 13 years old or younger cannot give away private information online.

The law as it's written says pretty bluntly that it is the duty of the website, or in this case a gaming company, to ensure that children are not able to provide any personal information at all, and what that really means is they can't sign up for ANYTHING online. You can read the FAQ provided by the Federal Trade Commission if you like. The law has been in effect for quite a while now so this isn't a retroactive law. Acclaim failed to take notice of it, and enforce the age limit as they should have done. Now, everyone of those accounts that was started when the player was 13 years old or younger has been restricted.

I'm betting that Acclaim received a Cease and Desist order from the Federal Trade Commission and they have obviously complied as best they can. It does not matter even in the slightest that the player may now be 16 or 17 years old, and legal. Acclaim collected private information from players who were underage at the time, and that information must be restricted.

About all Acclaim can possibly do now is to offer to replace lost coin mall items on to a replacement account, for those players who are now the legal age to play. Really though, a character copy to a new account would be a more thorough compensation plan.

When was the last time we saw Acclaim do a thorough job of anything?

That really does need to be considered though, at least for active coin mall users.

As always, all comments are welcome so long as they are balanced and fair. Yes, this is Acclaim Fail at it's Finest but simply whining about it helps no one. If any of our members have been caught in this problem I'm sure we can get material together to help them start again.

Edit: I see that [GM]Fugen has posted on the forum admitting to what I've posted here. I'll pat myself on the shoulder that I posted before he did, but I would still like to see a better job of compensation for the players affected. This is total bullshit from Acclaim. The only things to be transferred to replacement accounts are current coin mall items.

  • Second

[VGM]Lipton is on almost every day and he/she is clearing the macro and nuker spots users, wich is bad for nukers....

  • Finaly

Im going on vacation without knowing if I will be able to use the internet, so might not be on for a few weeks.

Il will leave you with a movie of Shaolin Monks using Wu-Tang and Hevenly Demon Skils.

PS: Sorry for the miss-spelling on my video.

Regards Lucky.^^

A new Mob!

Posted by Anonymous in , ,

It may not sound like much to you but when you've been grinding on the same mob, in the same spot on the map for almost 3 weeks, a new mob feels like you're playing a new game. Of course it doesn't help when the event only players show up and decide that your home is now their home, at least for the duration of the event. The nukers of course, are the worst.

But let me tell you about my new best friends the Miao Twin Axe Warriors. They are level 190 mobs that live in a part of the map that gets fairly narrow. This is not going to be fun when those nukers show up again. The narrow part isn't much wider than an AoE nuke. They have a very slow attack style and don't do an awful lot of damage which is good because they get aggro fairly quickly and you are always ganged by these mobs.

Like all mobs on the Tibet map they don't drop very much, sometimes a weapon which can be sold to an NPC for a lot of gold, FD gk/bk relics, and some gold from every kill. But also like all Tibet mobs they have a special drop that will hopefully be useful once we get the rest of the Tibet game material from Indy21. The special drop from these guys is called an Antidote of Twin Axe Warrior.

If anyone knows, maybe from the Korean version of the game, what these drops are used for could you please let us know. I don't know why there is any mystery about it, but Acclaim like always doesn't seem to want us to know.

Anyway, this is my new home in the game, probably for about the next three weeks. Anyone else doing anything fun?
