Hehehe...

We have a new Valentine's Day Event and there are a couple twists. First of all, you have to collect a lot of these new beans. I haven't seen one yet, but what a great reason to go grind. There are clothes to be had with the usual type of chain-quests that we get in holiday events, and resources trades with Wan Daye too...

Ok, the first steps are easy. You can get the pants from a chain quest in Hefei. Nice stuff too, 200 Def shirt, for warrior or chi kung type. There are bugs though and if you don't get your choice on the warrior/chi kung clothes, just wait. Acclaim is working on it.

The pants are easy enough too. Just go collect 3 of these mysterious beans from your usual grinding spot. It took me ten minutes. Ok, back to Hefei, and another chain quest to get your 200 Def pants.

Now I have to go to Icy Plains and it's just like the first quest you had as a complete noob. You accept the quest and get transported. I hate it when that happens! You re-appear on the Icy Plains map and run like hell, away from the gate, to your left and into the city. You are safe there. After that it's just chain quest inside that city, and you are transported back, where you'll get a really nice set of wristbands.

Next up is another chain chain quest in Hefei that gets you a nice bandana/hat that reflects physical damage for warrior types, or chi kung damage for those types. You'll have to kill 6 assasin types at some point, but they are easy, and it's Grand Central Noob Station there at the moment.

The next quest is also all in Hefei and nets you a really nice set of boots. I'm wondering if it's going to be worth turning these in for deco? Ok, the hat wasn't so good but this is a nice set of boots!

Remember, you have to be consistent in your selection of clothes, warrior or chi kung. If you don't get the choices, just wait. Acclaim is working on it.

You can wear these clothes, and I'm going to do just that. Not all of my characters has 400 Def clothes, but there is another option. You can trade the stuff you collect for a pretty nice deco too, back at the drapery on your home map. It's a choice you make. Use the clothes, or go get a deco. I'm going to use the clothes. On the last day of the event, I'll try to trade them for a deco and see what I get.

Oh, and those mysterious beans? Once you get a collection of them go trade them with Wan Daye for some interesting looking stuff. I haven't had time to do that yet, but that's next.
