The Future of Disconnected

Are we a PvE band, or not?

We have attracted a few players who are at the level that they can play in Bloody Plains, and survive. Sometimes they need to call on other members for help.

Should we encourage this game-play? Or should we stay PvE?

My personal opinion, we are a PvE League that enjoys the game. PvP players should be encouraged to form their own league.

we are totally PvE-league/Anti-pvp.

people who does pvp as dueling, its their personal thing, and it should not affect for rest of league (aka getting marked)

we need to discuss about poll-reseting later

If person likes PvP, then he should take responsibility of his actions and think about consequences before doing something.
In case of troubles on PvP fields it's easy to ask friends or league to help, but it also can make your friends targeted, which makes things even bigger. "War, huh...What is it good for? Absolutely nothing."
I don't see any reason why PvE player should suffer over PvP people business, even if they are mates.
Also i don't see any point of going to BP when person is already targeted. Going there is like throwing more oil into the fire and is that any good? Let things cool down first and try to solve the problem through talking.
Don't drag other in your mess and making them to solve your mess is immature. Well at least not more than once ;)

I'm bringing this up because we're seeing more and more PvP, almost every day. As for the dueling thing, all that seems to be is a guy pre-selecting his next PK target. IMO, we don't need that either. After all, there is the option to duel in Hefei.

Why did we reset it? we have now one less band in our league due to bp/cc/pvp-cases. We are PvE focused league and we dont start wars or kos. New poll result will be final solution for this join-or-not thing.
---------------------

Previously i voted "Maybe", but now I voted "Yes", because we need higher lvl players to do our management and helping if someone is getting pked without a reason (if someone in our league loves to pk, we wont be so helpful). PvP got its own risks and you will get easily KOS...not just you, it will happen for whole league.

However, the Disconnected league we know of will only exist as the junior part in that new alliance. The title of this blog will have to change too, haha.[…] It is, however, unlikely that the new league would thrive in SvS, as that would require PvP, or at least PvP capable builds from league members. (Almost all UF members are pure PvP).

First of all we (and especially I) don't want to suppress anyone. There is no "little junior" part in our league. Everyone has the same rights and will be heard and it does not matter if you are new or not. So you should not fear to "disappear" from the server, especially since I still recommend to run it as a trial of maybe 2 weeks to start with. I don't want to force you into this in any way nor do I want to make your first decision your final one as well. If you don't like it, there is nothing more left to do than leaving the HT alliance again. That will not change us into enemies!

The SvS question: We can do SvS whenever the alliance or league decides to go there. I have nothing against that event. However we most likely will be chanceless. Despite that fact it doesn't mean we shall not have our fun. So if a sufficient number shows interest in doing SvS: We go there, do our best, earn some GK and happily leave it again, may it be as "losers" or "winners" (if suddenly everyone else dcs for example :-P), as players with pvP build or PvE build, it doesn't matter.

btw the name of the league stinks: Heavenly Taipei (the first time I saw this name i thought it was a biscuit)

First of all, it is not Heavenly Tapei, it is Heavenly Taiping. And what you thought the first time is very wrong. The name is not just some cool word or nice looking combination and does not stink by far. No, it actually has a quite deep meaning and without being arrogant, it might be even one of the most fitting ones for this game of all the leagues around. For information just check the link Shanad posted before: http://myguild.mine.nu and read where the name comes from. If you are too scared to check our forum I can add the explanation here (if there is a wish for it). I hope you don't see it as stinky name anymore after reading it.

I better like to grind mobs than doing PvP actions.

yea i prefer PvE than PvP because making PvP you don't accomplish nothing so its a big waste of time

Guys we are a pve league too, maybe some of you think of HT as a pvp league but all pvp-oriented members/bands that formed HT now are gone. At the moment we are a pve league as you. We share the same feelings about pvp, it's completely true it's a waste of time cuz you dont accomplish anything. What Lelia was trying to say it's that *if* in the future some of you would like to try SvS or pvp we are not against it, but of course we prefer and encourage pve. The proof of that is that almost all our members are GK oriented.
Have Fun =)
