Power Leveling

Or Party Leveling as some people think of it. It's a simple system. You just get a group players with higher level characters to include you in their normal party grind when the experience is being shared. Any character more than a few levels lower than most in the group will gain experience, and levels, very quickly.

It looks like a good deal for the lower level character, and I get asked all the time to power level other people's new characters but this isn't anywhere near as good a deal as it looks. Quite simply, all you get is a new higher level. Your attack skills don't rise in strength, and if you push this power leveling too far you simply aren't going to be able to kill the mobs at your new level.

From my point of view, playing an SM level warrior, it's hard enough to gain experience without giving away a bunch to a guy who is sitting safe in a village. I don't generally do this at all, but if you hit me on the right day and offer me an awful lot of money when I'm broke? Well, I might.

Well, you don't really want to be the highest level player in the party.

You end up donating more XP than you get, but as a healer your character can play against yellow mobs fairly easily, while I'm still grinding them down to green.

Grinding in a full party with shared XP will get you 20% bonus XP, in addition to whatever event is going on. It adds up.

xena well shared party doesnt work so well if few people are grinding with much lower mobs than rest, higher ones gets much less exp (somtimes nothing from low levels) in some point you grind faster than same level players in shared party, so you are feeding them more than yourself :)

powerleveling doesnt work so well, more players in party who does powerleveling doesnt increase much at all for player who is leeching.

we tested with with my noob GC character, goodgrrrl was sharing her exp with me at SM\GB. i got ok exp like 1.2x from normal what i grinded alone! we tought that when she kills one mob, i get few levels with one kill... but in reality i got only about normal amount if i could have killed my level of mob (GC)

so...
... this is only replacement for low level people who wants to exp while staying at safe-spot. while sharing person gets only 50%

my opinion:
+ do powerleveling only if you get nice amount of money(1kk for 1hour)
+ share in party with levels close to you (only party with 9 people)
- if you do free powerleveling, you only lose!
- those low level noobs doesnt get any "gaming experience" nor skills

huh.. long comment ^^ i hope my
